An intimate Catholic Wedding in Positano
The very first time I spoke to Aina and Paul, I was surprised by the genuine love and great passion they had for each other.
Intensely devoted, they decided to celebrate their love in a beautiful chapel in Positano, surrounded by their four children and two dear friends, with whom they spent a dreamy week’s holiday in a private luxury villa, Palazzo Santa Croce.
This real gem, located in a breathtaking position in the upper part of Positano, is a 17th century refined Baroque palace, that fascinates visitors for its rich red stucco facade, grand terraces and a unique sea view. As they really wanted to live the real Italian experience, we suggested renting some vespas and a vintage car to ride along the Amalfi Coast winding roads to get to the ceremony venue.
What a thrilling experience !
After the Mass, they had an aperitif on the panoramic terrace of the five star hotel Il San Pietro and went on a private boat tour to Capri, where they spent the afternoon strolling around this picturesque island and enjoyed a light lunch with the view over the famous ‘Faraglioni’ rocks.
Back to Positano, they ended their unforgettable day with a succulent dinner at Palazzo Santa Croce prepared by their dedicated chef and danced all night long accompanied by the music of a sax and a guitar.
