A Memorable Symbolic Ceremony in Positano
Jennifer & Joseph … what a romance last summer in Positano!
Everything started when Jennifer, a gorgeous young American girl, contacted me last January to enquire whether she had enough time to arrange her wedding on the Amalfi Coast in September.
She had always dreamt about romantic Positano!
It was so important for her to celebrate the most important day of her life in this unique location, surrounded by their respective families and closest friends. So, despite the fact that there were just eight months to go, I promised that I would help her to fulfill her dream…and so it was that we began to work together in perfect harmony.
It was such a pleasure to plan her wedding, because from the start she had very clear ideas about the mood and the style of her wedding.
We exchanged hundreds of emails and worked on every single detail in an easy and relaxing way…and in fact the final result surpassed everyone's expectations.
On the wedding day everybody stopped to thank me for what I had done for this lovely couple and said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to…I was truly speechless!
The weather could not have been more perfect that 2nd September…the weather forecast had predicted heavy rain, however, sun shone all day and the temperature in the evening was absolutely prefect.
Jennifer and Joseph got ready in a nice panoramic hotel in the heart of Positano, Villa Rosa, sharing the ‘getting ready moment’ with their respective squads.
They all had some drinks, appetizers and a lot of fun throughout the afternoon and that helped to keep especially Jennifer’s stress levels down and to take it easy.
Jennifer and Joseph chose an extremely beautiful venue on the beach of Positano, the elegant Rada restaurant, to celebrate with their 75 guests coming from the USA, mostly friends.
The blue and white restaurant set up matched perfectly with the floral decorations chosen by Jennifer: purple bougainville, scented Amalfi Coast lemons and seasonal flowers with vibrant colors!
The Ceremony was celebrated on the Fly Terrace, a panoramic outdoor terrace overlooking Positano, where, in front of a big arch of bougainville and colorful flowers, Jennifer and Joseph full of emotion and happiness said yes ! The sweet sound of a violin accompanied this touching moment…
A cocktail hour followed at the Riva Bar on the beach, where drinks and appetizers were served while a jazz pianist cheered up the atmosphere.
Excellent local food was served after at the Rada restaurant above, where a DJ played throughout dinner and began to ‘warm’ the party, that went on at the night club below 'Music on the rocks'.
A delicious wedding cake and a rich buffet of desserts were also served at the same night club.
The party continued till very late … everybody had a lot of fun and danced and sang all night long in magic Positano … I will never forget this beautiful couple who I got on very very well with!
